Championship Match – Weyside 3 September

Sunday morning revealed a heavy mist over the lake which resulted in a very hot sunny day.  Its a bit late in the year, but the fish appeared to be on holiday as bites were at a premium!

2^nd          John Williams                     13lb 7oz               carp & bream

3^rd           Nigel Gilbert                       4lb 3oz

4^th           Colin Sweby                       3lb 12oz

5^th           Mike Hamlyn                      2lb 2oz

Joe Barton, Peter Gibson & Chris Gibson did not trouble the scales.

The remaining Championship matches are October 1 – Wargrave & October 8 – Wraysbury, but we probably  know who has won this year already?
